Some senators and the Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) have condemned the killings in President Rodrigo Duterte’s illegal drug war.

But Dabaweño netizen John Ralph Grant says that the figures condemning the president are those who are strongly opposed to Duterte’s presidency. Among these figures are Senators Leila de Lima, Antonio Trillanes IV, and Kiko Pangilinan, the Commission on Human Rights (CHR), and the CBCP.

Even as Duterte tries to forward genuine change in all of the Philippines, there are those who stop him. Grant claims that when Duterte gets tired of the political propaganda, he might resign and go back to Davao where the people appreciate how he can effect genuine change.

If the Yellows go back in power, Grant warns that old issues such as illegal drugs and corruption will become rampant again. 

Duterte tries to eradicate these problems, but Grant says that there are those who intentionally makes it difficult for the President.

In his full post Grant says,

"Aminin na natin sa ating mga sarili na lahat ng ginagawa ni Digong is para sa bansa at sa pilipino. Alam nating lahat na lahat ng gustong mag patasik kay Digong sa pagiging presidente gaya nalang nila Trillanes, Leni, Delima, Lisa, Kiko, CHR at CBCP ay mga sariling interest. May ilan sa inyo na hindi talaga aamin yan pero yan ang totoo. Ngayon sinasabi ko sa inyo na kung si Digong mapagod at mag resign, hindi po kawalan namin dito sa Davao ang kahihinatnan. Unang una, lalabas si Delima, lalala ang droga sa NBP, babalik ang laglag bala sa airport, tataas na naman ang crime rate mostly sa Manila so kayong mga PUTANG INA KAYONG MGA BOBO KAYO, wala kayong mga utak hindi niyo alam na ang sarap ng buhay ni Digong dito sa Davao at buhay namin dito pero ginusto niyo siyang maging presidente kasi nakita niyo na marami siyang nagawang mabuti sa Davao. Alam niyo sa nakikita ko sa bansa natin na pati ang presidente ay pinapahirapan niyo, mas gusto ko pang mag resign si digong at umuwi nalang dito kasi hindi niyo naman deserve ang effort ni Digong, dyosko, anong klaseng utak yan, adik na adik pinag tatanggol ng ibang senador at simbahan hoy para sabihin ko sa inyo, mas masaya kami na mag resign siya at umuwi nalang dito, tingnan natin kung saan pupulutin ang mga anak at apo ninyo pag dating ng panahon.."
