Kung dati-rati ay pahirapan ang pagkuha ng plaka ng sasakyan sa Land Transportation Office (LTO), ngayon ay inaasahang matutuldukan na ito dahil sa pagbili ng Duterte Government ng 5 plate making machines sa kumpanya at contractor na Trojan Computer Forms Manufacturing Corporation and JH. Tonnjes E.A.S.T. GmbH Joint Venture.

Ayon kay Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur Tugade, maiibsan ng makina ang problema sa plaka dahil hindi na kakailanganin magpagawa pa sa ibayong dagat.

Nagdagdag naman ang contractor ng 2 pang plate making machines para magamit pansamantala ng pamahalaan. Ang mga ito ay walang karagdagan bayad.

Ito po ang naging reaksyon ng mga tao sa pagbili ng gobyerno ng plate making machines.
