Isang private investor ang nagpahayag ng interest sa pagbuo ng tinatawag na Super Bridge na magdurugtong sa Mindoro sa Batangas. Ayon kay Governor Oriental Mindoro Alfonso Umali San Miguel Corp. ang magtatayo ng 14 na kilometrong tulay na kung masasakatuparan ay magiging pinakamahabang tulay sa pilipinas.

Hihigitan nito ang San Juanico Bridge na nag uugnay naman sa mga probinsiya ng Samar at Leyte ang naturang Super Bridge ay naistemang magkakahalaga ng 180B peso at magtatagal ng 5 taong contruction nito. Samantala ang San Juanico Bridge na may habang 2.16 kilometro na tumagal ng 4 na taon na paggawa ay nagkakahalaga ng 21.9M Dolyar.

Magsisimula ang Super Bridge sa Brgy.Ilihan Batangas City at may habang 6.4 kilometro sa kahabaan ng dagat ng Verde Island ang Ikalawang Tulay ay magdudugtong naman ng Verde Island sa Costal Brgy.San Vigan sa Puerto Gallera Oriental Mindoro sa habang 4.4 kilometro ang Super Bridge ay pinakamahabang tulay sa bansa at magiging pinakamahal na proyektong infrastraktura sa probinsiya.
