Former President Benigno Aquino III had a lot up his sleeve with up to P20 billion worth of anomalous projects discovered by Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC).

PACC Commissioner Manuelito Luna said that the anomaly that ranged from P10 billion to P20 billion was said to come from the Aquino administration's projects where many of which underwent budget realignment that was not in line with the General Appropriation Act.

Luna emphasizees that there have been three big projects with "red flags" with regard to the use and breakdown of their project.

"A very big anomaly, so far the biggest and multibillion anomaly which transpired not in this administration but during the BS Aquino administration" tatlong klaseng projects ito [that] pinondohan ng (there are three projects that were funded with) billions of pesos, but there are red flags," Luna said.

President Rodrigo Duterte established the PACC to investigate cases and instances of graft and corruption amongst presidential appointees.

The group was instituted last October 2017 with Volunteers Againt Crime and Corruption (VACC) Head Dante Jimenez as its in-charge.
